Already a month in from our recent move to our new location and business has been going strong! We encourage those who can make it to stop by and check out our new shop. While we still have the rest of the year to get through, January was a very exciting and prosperous month with many new knives that have been added to our inventory, which continues to grow.
Here at Carter Cutlery we provide the highest quality hand forged knives you can own. But we don't stop there! As a locally owned business we know how important it is to stay connected to the community as well as providing excellent customer service for all of your cutlery needs. Starting on Thursday, February 7th from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. (TOMORROW!!), here at our new location, we will be offering our very first open house of the year! Come see how our business functions and watch Murray perform his bladesmithing magic. This will be a very exciting experience for those who can make it. Murray knows how important it is to add personality and uniqueness to a knife. As we continue to grow we will be offering additional products to our extensive inventory of hand-forged knives. The first that we would like to offer are Custom Handles made from the highest quality materials such as Iron Wood, Corian, and Micarta. Those of you who wish to continue to build your own knives can purchase these handles to complete your custom design. Our custom handles are always 100% hand made in the USA. With our business continuing to grow we will start to deliver more content for your viewing pleasure on our YouTube channel. Fortunately Carter Cutlery has found a new Executive Assistant, Aaron Gallegos, who will be producing all of our new media. Aaron possesses professional photography and film making skills that will greatly benefit the quality of our media being produced for you.
Looking to join one of the greatest bladesmithing experiences offered in the world? Well look no further because for those of you who don't already know, Carter Cutlery offers Traditional bladesmithing Classes for all knife enthusiasts. You can find the 2013 course schedule HERE. Classes are filling up quickly so be sure to enroll soon to secure your spot! Starting February 18th we'll be hosting students from all over the world and will have a formal report including testimonials to follow.
